The List, North Texas Economic Development Agencies

This year, Dallas Business Journal reports that a total value of $4.5B was made in 2014 deals for economic development agencies on The List, an increase from $2.7B total deals in 2013. 

This year, Cedar Hill ranks The List with $5.39 million, 3 deals made last year; adding to the total of 418 deals made by the economic development agencies on The List in 2014.

In the last couple of years, Cedar Hill has seen new entries into the industrial market, IDX, Highway Intelligent Traffic Systems, and Dallas Aeronautical Services. While also experiencing expansions, P&W Quality Machines, Central States Manufacturing, and MJB Woodgroup.  Dovar Communications is also growing by leaps and bounds.

In the office market, Dr. Benjamin Dagley just completed new offices in the area, and 610 Uptown Class -A Office is leasing up nicely.  

Regarding retail, Cedar Hill is experiencing new and growing trade as well.  Many new developments breaking ground this summer to open in the fall, as well as anticipated changes coming to Hillside Village soon.
