It's a Three-Peat: Texas Wins Site Selection's Governor's Cup Again

Texas has been awarded Site Selection Magazine's Governor's Cup for 2014 - the third consecutive win for the Lone Star State and the sixth overall.
The prestigious award is given annually to the state with the most new and expanded corporate facilities announced over the year. The state's 689-project finish for 2014 is up from its 657-project, first place finish last year.
Governor Abbott has announced that he intends to make TexasOne bigger, broader and bolder. He aims to bring new businesses to Texas, grow the ones that are already here and be much more aggressive in attracting foreign direct investment so that Texas becomes a world leader in job creation.
