Allison J. H. Thompson, CEcD, EDFP, holds a BS in Criminal Justice from TCU, an MA in Urban Affairs from UTA as well as professional certifications from both the International Economic Development Council and the National Development Council.
Her experience ranges from working as a consultant in strategic economic development planning to managing a regional economic development organization. She has served as director of economic development in several Texas cities--most recently for The City of Burleson.
She is a member of the International Economic Development Council, the Texas Economic Development Council, Commercial Real Estate Women, Corporate Real Estate Network, Industrial Asset Management Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, Society of Commercial Realtors, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors as well as the Cedar Hill Rotary Club and the Cedar Hill Lions Club. Additionally, she represents Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation on the boards of Dallas Fort Worth Marketing Team, Texas One, Team Texas, Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce, and Best Southwest Chamber of Commerce.

Michaela joined the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation in August 2008, when she moved to Texas from her home town of Panama City, Florida.
In addition to economic development, her experience includes graphic art and web design, marketing communication and television production. She holds a BS in Business Communication from Florida State University, and is completing her MA in Mass Communication from UTA.
Michaela is a member of the International Economic Development Council, the Texas Economic Development Council, Corporate Real Estate Network (CoreNet), International Council of Shopping Centers, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR),the NTCAR Young Professionals Forum, the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, NAIOP's Developing Leaders, The Real Estate Council (TREC) Young Guns, the DFW Marketing Team, and the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Jean moved to Texas from Akron, Ohio, in 1983 after her husband became a head basketball coach for a Dallas high school. By 1984, Jean had worked her way to business manager of a retail store at the Loew's Anatole Hotel through the Trammel Crow Company. She eventually landed a job with Avis Rent-A-Car where she stayed for twelve years.
Jean worked as administrative secretary in the City of Cedar Hill's Development Services Department for five years before joining the Economic Development Corporation team. She earned her BA in Business Management from University of Akron.
