The City of Cedar Hill established an economic development department (CHEDC) in 1994, with full-time economic development professionals who focus on recruiting new business to the area as well as assisting existing businesses with expansion needs.
Cedar Hill Business Park, owned and operated by the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation (CHEDC), includes three major industrial businesses with facilities totaling over 364,000 SF.
