Babe's Chicken Cedar Hill BoomingBabe's Chicken Dinner House Booming in Cedar Hill - 7/8/2009
CEDAR HILL, Texas, July 8, 2009 – Today marks one month that Babe’s Chicken Dinner House has opened their doors in Cedar Hill, and they are frying chicken and baking biscuits as fast as they can to serve their large crowd of customers!
"We have been welcomed with open arms by the folks in Cedar Hill and surrounding communities. It looks like Cedar Hill may be our highest volume restaurant!" said Paul Vinyard, owner of the popular restaurant.
Babe’s Chicken Dinner House, well known for its family-style Southern cuisine, is located in Historic Downtown Cedar Hill and occupies the former City Hall. The old building, which was vacated by City staff in July 2008 for the new Government Center, has been transformed into a rustic barn setting no longer resembling the office and City Council space it once was.
Vinyard owns ten restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including Bubba’s Cooks Country in University Park, Sweetie Pie’s Ribeyes in Decatur and Babe’s restaurants in Burleson, Carrolton, Frisco, Garland, Granbury, Roanoke and Sanger in addition to Cedar Hill.
“We are excited to have Babe’s open in Cedar Hill. It’s delicious food in a fun setting, so we knew that it would be a crowd pleaser, and it definitely has been!” said Allison J. H. Thompson, director, Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation.
“It’s such a great concept for a restaurant,” said Michaela Dollar, business retention and marketing manager, Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation. “It’s true Southern hospitality at its finest. How can you not leave there without a smile and a full stomach?”
Babe’s Chicken Dinner House is located at 200 South Main Street in Cedar Hill, Texas. For more information on their hours and menu, you can visit their website at www.babeschicken.com.
